Bake Me a Lyeberry Pie

Okay, how is it possible that an adult in a customer service position for a fairly well-known website pronounces the word "library" as "lyeberry?"

And he's a tech support person, too.

I was having a problem with my online library on a site that sells podcasts, and I would think that if the guy heard the word pronounced as "library" enough times, he'd habituate.

Things like that make me berry, berry kwazy.

No different from our president pronouncing NUCLEAR as NUCULAR - doesn't anyone dare to tell him ?

I'm sure he's been told, but some people claim that "nucular" is a regionalism. Kind of reminds me of The Emperor's New Clothes.

So both the tech guy and your president are related to Elmer Fudd? Or was it Foghorn Leghorn?

The tech guy is more like a Boston native who's missing his "r's." And our president? Daffy Duck.
